Durant misses training for U.S. team due to calf injury

Kevin Durant, who joined the U.S. men's basketball team to participate in the Paris Olympics, is not performing normal training.

Local media such as "The Athletic" reported that Durant did not perform normal training due to a calf injury in the U.S. national team training held in Las Vegas, Nevada on the 8th (Korea Standard Time).

Durant missed all team training, including the select team and practice games, and only participated in individual training.

"I'm going to be careful. It's not a bad situation. It's not a bad situation," national team coach Steve Kerr said. "We just watch the situation every day and plan to go really carefully."

The Athletic, citing sources, said it was unclear whether Durant would play in a practice game against the Canadian national team on Wednesday local time.

However, the media outlet explained that the situation is not serious enough to consider replacing the list. The Olympics cannot be replaced when the final list is submitted.

The U.S. national team is managing Joel Embiid and Kawhi Leonard with knee injuries. Leonard, in particular, missed the first round due to a knee injury in the last playoff.

"We are in a rusted state. We are in the second day of training. The players have just started playing games," Kerr said. "We are still in the process of getting in sync."

The U.S. men's basketball team, a 16-time Olympic gold medalist, is trying to win its fifth consecutive Olympic championship. 무료슬롯사이트
